Habits to Quit if You Want to Excel in Life – Skills for Success [Episode 13]

There are certain habits that you need to quit if you wish to succeed in life. And the principal thing you need to give up and completely quit is bitterness.

You have to quit bitterness and learn to forgive.

Bitterness comes from not being satisfied, competition, comparing and measuring yourself with others or with unrealistic goals. It makes you unhappy with yourself.

And this bitterness then leads to stress, and that stress also leads to depression. And depression can be hazardous.

That is why you must learn to forgive. Forgive yourself, and others. Believe in what you’re doing. Accept and agree with yourself on what you’re doing. Be determined to be happy with others and with yourself. It is a choice that we all have to make.

To be successful in life, remove bitterness and embrace forgiveness.
Secondly, learn to control your mind. Replace entertainment with education. Seek personal development by reading books, attending seminars and listening to speakers.

Understand that you need these things to succeed.
