ABOUT THE FOUNDER (BARR. ADA C. MADU)

Realtor, Barrister, and Philanthropist

Adanna Chinedu Madu – an accomplished public speaker, human rights activists, legal Practitioner in Property Investment – Real Estate; Founder and CEO of Visible Voices Foundation with a vision to be a voice to the voiceless, empower the powerless and defend the defenseless. She is a gender specialist, has worked on gender issues over the past 20years in several sectors in Nigeria, Netherlands and Canada. She specializes in gender training and empowerment – women and youths. Ada has a wealth of experience in mentoring, counseling and providing direct support to victims – distressed, vulnerable youths and abused women in the society

  1. Has worked as the Coordinator for Women and Juvenile Welfare – Human Rights Defenders Organization of Nigeria.
  2. Has worked as Program Manager, Reach Africa Foundation in Netherlands.
  3. She was also the Coordinator for Women in Action Foundation in Canada
  4. She has attended several workshops, seminars and conferences nationally and internationally and a diversified mentor for victims in the society (women and youths).
  5. She has published five books, made and written several presentations and research papers both nationally and internationally on different topics including, but, not limited to:

Adanna Chinedu Madu is a Senior Partner at Brickhouse Solicitors in Victoria Island, Lagos. Her area of legal practice is on property investment – Real Estate; they discover where fast developing land and properties are and make them available to their clients.

Ada is a gender specialist who has worked on gender issues for the past 16 years in several sectors in Nigeria, Netherlands and Canada. She is the National Coordinator of Visible Voices Foundation, with a vision to be a voice to the voiceless, defend the defenceless and empower the powerless.

Ada has published three (3) books, made several presentations and written lots of research papers both nationally and internationally. She has her LL.B from the University of Benin, Nigeria and her LL.M from Utrecht University in the Netherlands. She is happily and joyfully married with four (4) children.
