The Christmas period is usually characterized with festivities and celebrations. It is called the season of love and sharing. It is a culture, a spirit; the Christmas spirit, or giving spirit. Now, even though giving is not seasonal for us, it is something we do all year round, we still recognize and appreciate the yuletide spirit of giving.
In December 2018, we at Visible Voices Foundation visited and celebrated the season with some Widows in Anambra State and also with some Widows in Abia State. We came bearing gifts for them. And it was a beautiful Christmas not just for them, but also for us.
We are a people that advocate for women and youth empowerment. So by all means, we will continue to do all that we can do to put smiles on the faces of these people. With goodwill donations from well-meaning individuals like yourself and organizations, we could do more and more.
