Visible Voices Foundation Visits Olive Bloom Orphanage

When you think of a place to spend the weekend, I’m sure what comes to your mind would be the beach, the golf course, the park, the cinema, window shopping and people watching at the mall, hang out with the family or friends, see a football match… You know it best.

Several options will run through your mind. However, the one place that may not cross your mind, is the Orphanage Home. But that’s what we did on the first of June 2019; we spent our weekend with a people who only have themselves to call family and friends. The experience was beautiful, joyful and also emotional.

It felt good to visit and bring gifts to these beautiful people because it was a privilege. These are kids who didn’t choose their nationality, parents or any such thing that made them orphans. They were kids who through one event or the other has no one but themselves to call family. As I said, it was an emotional experience and we learned some good lessons during the time spent there.

We are grateful to God for the opportunity to be a blessing to the kids, the resources it took, and of course your good self and many others that made it possible. Thanks and blessings.
